Freezing Day

Yesterday I worked the whole day. And guess what?! The heater didn't work!!!!
We were freezing our ass off..... >.<"
There was no difference inside and outside. Yesterday was about 25F - about -4C and then it dropped again at night.
I wore only 1 long sleeve t-shirt. I was freezing! And then I wore my coat to work haha... but still cold. >.>

When I worked at night, my manager wasn't there, instead the assistant manager was there. It was so relaxed last night... ^^
We had 3 servers and it was a slow nite. Nobody wanna go out and eat, I guess. Hell, I don't wanna go out to work too if I don't remember the money... =^.^=

After 9PM, we have only 1 server who's on duty, it's always like this except on weekends the on duty server starts at 10PM.
At 8, Nathan, one of the servers, asked to leave early. So, he started to do his side jobs. And then after that (like 5 minutes after) Tommy, the other server, asked to leave early too. So he started to do his side jobs.

Then we were hanging out at the bar (our restaurant has a bar). Because we were watching TV, there was a plane that skidded off in Chicago and Nathan has to go to Chicago today, his plane left at 6AM. He probably got delayed due to bad weather. Because 2 days ago we had flurries. The road was icy and slippery.
My car's glass was frozen. It took me half an hour to melt the ice. I was late to work, I had to be there at 10:30, but I got there at 11.. ^.^"
And so, we were hanging out at the bar since Gerry, the asstn manager, was cleaning up the boxes (we just got a delivery full of wines, beers, liquors).
Nathan was going to make drinks but then our boss was outside. We didn't make drinks then. =(

Anyway, because 2 servers clocked out already, so Jay had to stay since he was on duty. But then he asked to leave early too at 9PM. He asked Gerry to ask Tim, our boss, if he can leave early. Our restaurant closes at 10PM.
Then, the busboys wanted to leave early too since there was nobody coming. ^^
Some of the customers left because our heater didn't work. And when new customers came, they told them that our heater was broken and if they didn't mind eating in the cold, they were welcome to come. ^.^"
So, Jay clocked out at 9PM. A minute after he clocked out, a couple came...hahahha...
They tried to scare them off by telling them that there's no heater but it didn't work. They still wanted to eat. Poor Jay....
Then I told Gerry that I'm leaving... It was 9 something. And Jay was leaving too. Gerry took care of the customers... Poor Gerry... kekekke....^.^
