I skipped last night's class and went to the movies. I know...what a good student I am, huh?! ^.^
I watched Four Brothers and The Exorcism of Emily Rose. I watched 2 movies since it's $1 movies and Tuesday is 50 cents day. Isn't it awesome?! 50 cents for a movie, it's even cheaper than buying a chocolate bar!! Whoever thought of that is a genious!! ^__^V
Have you guys watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose? Damn, but this girl can act!! She looked like she was really possessed..... She is
good, man!
There are some scenes that made me jumped (a little bit, not high jump - if I jump that high, somebody'll probably throw their shoes at me hehehe).
Watching this made me remember when I first saw somebody got possessed. I was in 2nd? either 2nd or 3rd grade. My friends, my sister and I just got off of school and nobody picked us yet - the mothers went shopping probably and forgot all of us who waited for them patiently at school. ^^
We decided to go to the cafetaria's owner's house, whenever nobody picked us yet, we always go there. We walked there and when we got there there were a bunch of people gathering in the living room. It was really noisy because everybody was talking to each other and someone was shouting. That person who shouted and yelling turned out to be the one who got possessed.
Everybody was holding on to him - I think it was a he, couldn't really remember. There was a priest too.
When we heard the noises, we went to the living room. But before we got in someone told us to go from the back and don't come out. And so we went to the back but not after we saw him.
After we got in, we were asking each other what that was all about.
My friend told me that it was somebody got possessed. I don't know how he knew this, maybe he was eavesdropping while we were trying to figure out what happened, who knows.
After we found that out, we got curious since we never saw someone got possessed before. And so we watched them. I couldn't really remember what I saw but I remember that I was a little scared of him. Anyway, we couldn't watched them that long because someone found out that we were watching and took us inside.
I didn't think about this when I saw him. But now after I got older and watched this movie, I think about this whole demon - ghost thing. Does it exist? I don't know. Can people really got possesses? I guess so...since I saw that person.
But still if you ask me if I believe in ghosts, my answer will be half and half. I kinda do and I kinda don't.
I kinda don't because I've never seen a ghost before and yet I heard stories from friends and families about meeting ghosts. You know how we kids like to scare each other and torment our little sisters or brothers. The older cousins, sisters, brothers, friends like to torment their youngster with scary stories and yet we like to be tormented and asked for more stories... @___@
I kinda do believe in ghosts especially since you could still find black magics in Indonesia and since the people do believe in that kind of things.
Hmm.. Writing this made me remember that 1 time when I played jelangkung (that's Indonesian for...... I don't know, I couldn't think of its name right now. But it's a board full of letters and numbers and there's also a "yes" and a "no." You ask for the spirits/ghosts to come and ask them questions.)
I was scared to play that thing but then I wanted to know if it really is real. We played it in class using paper and pencil. It really moved. I don't know if it was the ghost or my friend but it moved.
Fortunately, the ghost or whatever that is didn't stay with us after we're done. Since people there believe that if the ghost doesn't want to go home after we tell it too, it'll bother us until we take them home, whatever that means.
After we're done, a teacher found out that we've been playing that game and she yelled at us in front of the class. Gosh, that was soo embarassing! >.<"
Hmm... when I read at my writing (this blog) again, I think I do believe in ghosts then..... ^^ At least, I hope I don't have to meet one first to believe it. @__@
I guess since I grew up in a country full of cultures and legends - ghost legends too, I tend to believe in this kind of things. =^.^=
Talking - er.. I mean writing- abou
t jelangkung
remind me of the Indonesian movie called
Jelangkung
. I haven't watched it. I've been wanting to watch it but I haven't been able to ask somebody to buy it for me and I couldn't find it here.
I heard it's really scary and when they made this movie, they did find the ghosts in their video. >.>
I was just thinking that my blog today is creepy heuhuehe... I watched this movie and I just finished reading
The Historian which is about Dracula. Hmm.. it seems that lately my preference is all about creepy stuff... I guess this is the after effect of Halloween, huh?! ^^
